Long Live the King
This book is about how a stubborn and lazy prince who takes
advantage of others, overuse his power and is hated by all changes into a king
who became worshiped even after death.
George William Kingsley, rich, playboy, and the son of the
king of England. Most known for almost burning down London Bridge and holding a
party in Big Ben George Kingsley never cared what others thought of him, until
the eventful day that his father died which led to him becoming king, many
protested but nothing could be done as he was the only heir to the throne.
Confused, terrified and clueless he was, taking one wrong step after another.
he gave all his power to a Minister which then led to corruption within the
ranks, he executed them all and had no one else to go to for help, he recruited
new people who were as clueless as him, and down went England falling into
pieces ,until the broken king took a stroll in the nearby public park which led
to an interesting event.
George saw a goup of disabled children led by a young
teacher, playing by the park. Even though disabled and having trouble moving
around, they stilled didn’t stop trying to play and learn new things and even
when they fall and fail, they never give up and still try to do what they
couldn’t do before. Even though these children are dejected by the society and
have troubles with certain things, they still never give up on life and are
constantly positive and happy and that moved George. He thought of England, thought
of himself, thought of how broken they were, and when something is broken,
double effort must be given to fix it and triple effort to keep it fixed.
From that moment on he never looked back, he did loads of
research, burnt midnight oil to sort out problems and built a strong foundation
in his quest to rebuild England, there were some problems both major and minor
but he never gave up and bought England to one of its glory days. Enemies
become allies, hate becomes love and clueless prince becomes a mighty king.
