Around The World in 80 Days

The main character in the Novel Around The World In 80 Days is Phileas Fogg. He never gave up all throughout the journey. He had to take a difficult elephant ride across the deep jungle where there were bandits. He also had to sail through many storm seas. At one point, he had to take a risk by travelling on the train to Omaha where the train had to cross a damaged bridge. On another ocassion, he travelled on a strange sled with sails during a cold, freezing night. He kept on trying without loosing hope and no matter the outcome. He never quit even when the odds were stacked against him. He always finds a way to solve the problems that came his way. Fogg displayed a strong will in coping with adversity. He never let obstacles get in the way of achieving success.

Alvin Freiszuan, 4 Cergas.
